A young man in China discovered the solution a bit too late when his irate girlfriend forcibly dragged him across a subway station after he wouldn't put down his iPhone and quit fiddling with it.
What began as a minor argument between two lovers inside a subway car turned into a full-blown "rampage" when the boyfriend's girlfriend became obviously irritated with him for not stopping playing games on his phone and snapping pictures with it.
She hauled him out of the carriage while snatching the iPhone from his hand when the woman finally lost her cool. Yet her boyfriend wouldn't let go of the phone, and as a series of images captured by passersby show, his eyes remained firmly locked on whatever game he was playing.
In an attempt to remove the phone from the man's hands but failing, the woman had to use her legs to separate her partner from her "rival," clamping her feet against the man's jaw.
The couple engaged in a brief tug-of-war that covered a stunning amount of ground in the train, with the male primarily clinging to his phone while on the floor.
The couple eventually ended up on another carriage, with the woman still dragging the man along until she managed to get them both aboard, along with the iPhone, unharmed.
Witnesses and bystanders were astounded and amused by the couple's argument, and some even questioned its authenticity or speculated that it had been staged for attention.

One witness, Yuan Fang, told the Daily Mail, “If it was staged then I’d be surprised, I even saw one kid burst into tears as the couple were shouting at each other and she was trying to grab the phone off of him.”
Others, however, thought the incident was genuine and not staged because of the two's passionate kicking and yelling.
“She just flipped out and tried to grab the phone off him and when that failed she had been forced to drag him onto the carriage before the doors closed. She was shouting a lot and telling him to let go of the phone,” another witness claimed.
