The 40-year-old star of  “The Fast and the Furious” movies, Paul Walker, and his good friend Roger Rodas, a pro racer who owned Always Evolving Performance Motors, were killed on Saturday, Nov. 30  in a fiery single-car wreck in Southern California.

Walker was attending a car show  to benefit his organization Reach Out Worldwide (which sends first responders to the scenes of natural disasters) held at Rodas’ Always Evolving Performance Motors, just down the street from the site of the accident on Rye Canyon Loop, as disclosed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

According to authorities and witnesses, Walker and Rodas were  in a red Porsche GT owned by Rodas at about 3:30 in the afternoon when the sports car flew off the road and slammed into a tree in Santa Clarita before it bursts into flames.

A raw video of the burning car before it explodes was uploaded on youtube by someone who was apparently riding by the scene of the accident  Saturday afternoon.   The seemingly ‘cowardly’ reaction of the video taker was bashed by the majority commenters.
