The grannie, as per a World News story, has been active since age 3 with dancing, calisthenics and in playing various sports.
Said Sheppard, she loves coming to the gym to do the workouts and meet the ‘lovely people’.
The old woman actively participates in the gym’s activities such as Zumba, Yoga, Aqua Aerobics, and weightlifting classes.
Because of her dedication to heath and fitness, Sheppard will be receiving an honor from the city council of Hume.
“Many use excuses to avoid exercise and a healthy lifestyle; Edna proves that age is no barrier,” said Hume Mayor Drew Jessop.
According to Jessop, Sheppard is an absolute inspiration to people of all ages in the Hume community and beyond, and the council will recognize that.
The mayor added that the grandmother hasn’t only got fit but also developed a lifetime friendships with staff and members of the Broadmeadows Leisure Centre for over 35 years.
