Popular actress Rhian Ramos distributed “anti-sexual harassment weapons” to female commuters at the Ayala Station of the Metro Rail Transit, in a bid to empower female commuters.
Together with her supporters, Cyberhians, Ramos distributed pepper sprays to tell women that they have to defend themselves whenever someone will try to take advantage of them while riding in public vehicles.
“So many women were writing to me, emailing, commenting, and direct messaging me na worried sila sa safety nila on public transport. At kinukuwento nila sa akin iyong mga stories nila,” she shared.

“I was inspired to, somehow, help them feel safe,” she added. “I just want them to be empowered, to defend themselves.
