MANILA, Philippines – Kris Aquino had a minor accident while taping for her new program with GMA Network at Nueva Ecija over the weekend.

Sharing what happened on Instagram, Kris narrated she was feeding the free range chicken while touring the organic lettuce farm in the town of Bongabon when a metal accidentally fell on her foot.

“Siyempre camera was rolling so tiniis ko. Pero OMG, ang bigat & my left foot absorbed the full weight,” Kris wrote.

[But because the camera was rolling, I tried to endure the pain. But it (metal) was heavy and my left foot absorbed the full weight.]

“Thank you Dr. Niño Buenaventura from the ER of Immaculate Conception Medical Center for taking care of me. Thank you to my producer Tita Dory Morales for being compassionate & letting me go home so that I can rest my foot for the next 2 days for the swelling & bruising to subside,” she said.

In another video, Kris said she suffered a big bruise on her foot and was advised by the doctor to rest for at least 24 hours to avoid straining her injured left foot which have been place in cast and applied with cold compress.

The controversial TV host-actress returned to television with ‘Trip ni Kris’ almost a year after severing ties with ABS-CBN Network, her home for more than 20 years.

Her latest show is expected to start airing before March ends.
