Lawyer Oliver Lozano is definitely on a roll! After his request to impeach Rep. Gary Alejano of the Magdalo party-list for allegedly basing the impeachment complaint against Duterte on unproven information, here he comes again; this time, requesting for the impeachment of Vice-President Leni Robredo.

As reported by GMA News, in his letter addressed to House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, Oliver Lozano is requesting for the former’s endorsement of his impeachment complaint against VP Leni.

He said: “We respectfully request that you endorse the attached complaint about impeachment against LENI ROBREDO.”

He further added that Robredo is the termite of the government; citing in his letter the VP’s unfaithfulness and disloyalty to the current administration. He said: “Her unfaithfulness has extended to the betrayal of public trust and culpable violation of the constitution.”

As to which part of the constitution Lozano was referring to remains hanging though.

Robredo, on the other hand, remains unfazed. In a recent interview via Abante, she said she is not afraid to be impeached as long as she is telling the truth. The impeachment complaint became a subject of discussion after Robredo extended her plea for help from the international community regarding the current situation of the country due to Duterte’s war against drugs.

Earlier, Bato dela Rosa denied any communication effort  from the vice president’s office before the controversial video message that raised the issue of alleged EJKs in the Philippines. However, the camp of VP Robredo was quick to clarify  via a presscon that the OVP  has, in fact, sent a letter dated January 24, 2017 to the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) requesting for documents pertaining to her concerns over the administration’s war on drugs. Her request, as per Balita DF, remains pending though as no copies were furnished in connection to her concerns.
