The Nintendo Switch is about to get launched and people are expecting a lot of things from it, but we really can’t say much about it since it is too early. One thing is sure, it would be better than the Wii U.
“Conversely, the Wii U looked to reinvent the wheel for the sole purpose of reinventing the wheel, and it came nowhere close to adding anything of value to the gamer’s experience,” as per BGR.
The release of the Switch got rushed, so we can’t expect a software experience review. Along with the launch, Nintendo also releases a few line-up of games. The games would include 1-2-Switch, Arms, Fast RMX, and many more.
Gone were the days when the games are “just video game consoles several generations ago”. Current games are more than that since they offer a wide range of portals, making the game experience much more exciting. Most of the new games now includes streaming movies, but you won’t see any of that, in the Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, we won’t get most of the apps that most people use in this gaming device, simply because it is just an incomplete product that was rushed out by Nintendo.
If you want to ask other executives of the company, you might get the same response since that is the same response by Nintendo America’s chief operating officer Reggie Fils-Aime, when asked.
“We’re talking to a range of companies about other services, companies like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon — things that will come in time.”
“In our view, these are not differentiators. What differentiates us is the way you play with the Nintendo Switch and what you can play. And that will continue to be our focus into the future as we continue driving this platform,” as per a Washington Post story.
