One of the suspects in the so called “Rent-Sangla” scam was gunned down by two motorcycle-riding armed men in front of her house in Sta. Rosa, Laguna past 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19.
The incident was caught by a closed-circuit television camera.
As per a GMA story, Eleanor Constantino Rosales, identified as the secretary of the scam’s alleged mastermind Rafaela Anunciacion, came from a hearing on a case stemming from the car rental scam when the assailants shot her to death.
In the video clip, Rosales was seen as she was about to enter the gate to her house when she noticed the gunmen. She tried to run away but was gunned down by one of the men. The victim was shot four times as evidenced by the four spent bullets recovered from the crime scene by Scene of the Crime Operatives.
The suspects were not identified as one wore a helmet and the other one was wearing a baseball cap. The motorcycle used by the suspects did not have a plate number.
The police are still trying to determine the motive for the killing.
