A mother has left the internet shocked with her amazing resemblance to Emma Watson. Kari Lewis from Indianapolis, Indiana didn’t even know about Emma or the Harry Potter franchise until two girls, strangers, approached her and told her she looked like the actress.

And that was when she got curious and started looking up Emma Watson, Hermione, and all other things related to Harry Potter. Eventually, she got ‘hooked’ into the ‘Harry Potter universe’ and she began identifying with Hermione’s personality as well as her looks.

Kari told BuzzFeed News: ‘If it wasn’t for those two young girls, I probably wouldn’t have known about Harry Potter until a bit later.’

In one of her Instagram accounts, the resemblance between her and the actress is very evident at some angles, Kari wrote in the post: I’m crying. My selfie, on the right, was taken 2 months ago for Madison’s birthday. On the left, Emma had a fan photo taken for the Beauty and the Beast tour.’

Kari works in a video store by day. However, in her free time, the mother transforms into the beautiful Emma Watson in her cosplays that she shares on her Instagram account.

She said: ‘Ive always related to Hermione in the books (smart, bossy, avid reader, etc). So, it makes cosplaying as Hermione at conventions a thousand times better!’

Ignore my nails, but here's another photo from the cosplay practice shoot I did the other day.

Kari has also played with Emma’s costumes from one of the actress’ movies, Beauty And The Beast. Check out her own version of Belle’s blue ‘provincial dress’.

Here’s a picture to give readers and fans a stun:
