At first glance, baby-faced Tomislav Jurcec could easily be mistaken for a 13-year-old boy, or even younger.

But this man from the Croatian capital city of Zagreb is actually 23 years old; blame it on a rare condition which prevents him from growing up and ageing.

Tomislav, according to The Sun, has a fault in his pituitary gland which controls a person’s growth and ageing. This means he is a man trapped in a body of a teenager ten years younger.

But Tomislav has been using his rare condition to his advantage.

He has been working for the popular TV series “Game of Thrones” as a stand in for Peter Dinklage, who plays the dwarf Tyrion Lannister.

The IT specialist has attended acting workshops in his city and has appeared in a number plays and even a movie in Finland.

However, he faces a problem when buying cigarettes or beer as he is often mistaken for a minor.

“I find that very funny. I like to call that ‘shock and disbelief. I raise my head, I smile, I give my ID and the next thing is: ‘Here are the cigarettes, thank you and goodbye!’” he recalled with a laugh.
