10-year-old girl from Olongapo is Princess of the World 2017 grand winner

A 10-year-old girl from Olongapo won the title for the Princess of the World 2017 pageant.

Shirleena Joice Espinosa, a 5th grader at Cabalan Christian School in Olongapo City, bested more than 50 delegates from around the world to win the super grand prize of the pageant that was held in Pomorie, Bulgaria on June 29, 2017.

According to an OPMB Worldwide article written by Noli A. Berioso, prior to her winning the title from the international pageant, Shirleena was 2nd runner up in Little Princess Philippines 2016 organized by Glamore Productions Co., headed by Mrs. Asia-Pacific 2016 Kristine Diane Nagasaka and Maan Cueto Aris.

Shirleena also won gold medals in vocals and modelling categories in the preliminaries of the competition. The judges and the audience gave her a standing ovation during the talent presentation.
