Their chemistry is so palpable you can almost feel it radiating off the screen!
Last week we watched Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz in Tonight with Abunda as they played the infamous game ‘fast talk’ where they answered controversial questions and we learned more about them than we expected but that wasn’t even the best part yet.
“May gusto akong ipagawa sa kanyang song from the same artist, si Jeff Buckley. It’s called, ‘Love, You Should’ve Come Over.’ Feeling ko kapag kinanta ng babae, mag-iiba ang ibig sabihin ng song. Parang ang ganda kung kakantahin niya, given her range,” John Lloyd said.
Sarah actually sang ‘Lover, You Should’ve Come Over’ by Jeff Buckley which is John Lloyd’s favorite song and artist. And they didn’t air it on tv! Yes, we missed the bust part but luckily, a behind the scenes video was uploaded by one of the audience members.
But Sarah only said she’ll be down for it as long as Lloydy sings with her.
#AshLloyd is a big Jeff Buckley fan. Singing "Lover, You Should've Come Over" Too young to hold on And too old to just break free and run Sometimes a man gets carried away, When he feels like he should be having his fun Much too blind to see the damage he's done Sometimes a man must awake to find that, really, He has no one #PagodKaNaBangMagIsa #NahanapMoNaBa #FinallyFoundSomeone #yungpagturonikuyasapusonyaeh
In the same interview he also mentioned Buckley earlier stating that she’d use one of his songs “Last Goodbye” if he were to audition to The Voice and he’d definitely be on Team Sarah,
The two are promoting their fourth film “Finally Found Someone” and just like the other three movies before this, it was a blockbuster hit earning P20M on the first day of screening.
