Indeed, breast milk is best for your baby.  The benefit is well beyond the basic nutrition; it contains all the vitamins and nutrients needed especially for the first 6 months of life. But to actually add it to your cooking?

In a post on a popular Facebook page called “Sanctimommy”, a mother was stirred in an online debate when she admitted she used breast milk for her brownies for school bake sale.

She’s asking for advice through her post after other moms found out about it.

“I didn’t have to run to the store and didn’t think it was a big deal (some of those kids could use the nutrition let’s be honest) and it wasn’t even that much,” she stated.

Unfortunately, commenters did not think that way. Some took it as a joke while others were disgusted and some even considered it as a criminal offense.

They are actually right.

According to the US Food and Drug Administration, donors should undergo proper screening before sharing human milk. The child can become susceptible to infectious diseases like HIV or any chemical contaminants.

The identity and residence of this mom is not yet validated. Meaning to say, it is possible that the post itself might be some other kind of joke since the post was actually screengrabbed and re-shared.

Even so, we can take this as a reminder that not everything can be shared at any time or with anyone.
