Many were shocked after the sudden passing of CNN Philippines anchor Amelyn Veloso this Thursday, August 24.
According to a story by PEP.ph, Veloso died of liver cancer.
Amelyn Jean Veloso was only 43 years old (April 25, 1974 – August 24, 2017). She was a broadcast journalist of CNN Philippines. She was a co-anchor of Solar Daybreak from 7 January 2013 until 2014. She was previously an anchor for News5‘s Balitaang Tapat, with Raffy Tulfo.
Veloso was considered by the broadcasting industry as one of the kindest news personalities in the country.
Fellow mediamen, renowned personalities, and netizens went to their respective social media accounts to mourn Veloso’s death.
