The Department of Energy said on Saturday that motorists should expect and prepare for big time increases in the pump prices of petroleum products this week.
In DOE’s consumer advisory, P1 per liter is the estimated price increase in gasoline, P0.90 per liter increase in diesel, while P0.95 per liter increase in kerosene.
DOE said that the international oil trading may affect the domestice prices of petroleum products.
It further disclosed that the latest price adjustments may be implemented on Tuesday, August 8.
However, price adjustments may still changed by the Friday trading activities which will be accessed on Monday, the DOE said.
