Some men just don’t deserve to be a father!

A man in Indonesia is now being investigated for causing the death of his three-month-old daughter. The horrible incident reportedly took place in North Jakarta last August 8.

The 27-year-old father, Faisal Amir, according to the World of Buzz, couldn’t stand the crying of his daughter while he was trying to sleep in their bed. Annoyed, he first hit him with a bottle several times, hoping that it would stop the baby.

However, the infant kept on crying and the father, who does not want to be bothered, covered her face with a pillow before going to sleep for almost three hours.

After waking up, he then went to the kitchen to prepare milk but did not even check the baby. He came back and found out she was no longer breathing.

“I was angry. I hit her leg with a bottle of powder but she still kept crying. At that time I was lying on a pillow, so I pulled it out and put it on her face. At that time I was very dizzy,” he told investigators.

Amir said he tried giving the victim CPR but it was too late since the infant was already dead.

“She was lifeless. I regret this,” he said.

The police said the man could be under stress because he is jobless and his wife is the one working for the family. Without a job, he was left to take care of their child at home.

“There is a possibility that the suspect is going through stress due to failure of finding a job. He was also angry because his baby always cried,” an officer said.

The accused has since been detained for questioning and could face up to 20 years in prison if charged in court.
