We found another way for you to make that rainy day “Fridate” even better. If your August 18 plans happen to be somewhere near Ka Tunying’s Café branches at Visayas Avenue, NAIA terminal 3 and the one in front of GMA network, your two pesos could get you a special treat.

That’s right! Your two pesos can give you a hot, mouth-watering bowl of “Arroz Ala Tunying”; courtesy of Ka Tunying’s Café. In celebration of its 2nd anniversary, the two-peso arroz caldo promo is the Café’s way of giving thanks to their valued patrons and guests.

The mechanics are simple, according to the Café’s official Facebook post. Just present “the photo” and avail the #DosArroz for every purchase of All Day Breakfast items. The limited time offer (August 18, 2017 from 7AM- 4PM) is valid for dine-in transaction only and is not applicable for take-out transaction. The FB post added that only a Maximum of (2) per table visit.

Not only the Arroz Caldo is very nice-tasting at Ka Tunying’s menu. Based from previous articles and Facebook comments by the masses, they have a lot to offer, which are not only delicious but are also affordable at reasonable prices.

The Café/resto-business is owned by no other than Anthony Taberna, more popularly known as Ka Tunying.

Ka Tunying, who has been praised by viewers for his “hard-hitting” opinions on current issues, seem to put to life what he speaks against at his tv/radio shows.

“Halos lahat ng staff namin ay regular employees,” [almost all of our staff are regular employees] he said; noting how he has been tackling the issue of contractual labor in the country. “Hindi puwedeng may ‘endo,’ (end of contract) you have to practice what you preach,” he added.

Ka Tunying is well-known to be a newsman from ABS-CBN, but check this out. Looks like even famous media-men from “his employer’s fiercest competitor” (GMA) can’t seem to resist the yummy food he has to offer:
