17-year-old’s time lapse video of thunderstorm in Cebu goes viral

• A senior high school student of University of San Carlos in Cebu City took photos of a thunderstorm
• He made a time lapse video composed of over 200 photos
• The video has since gone viral

Senior High School student John Beryl Go photographed the thunderstorm above Barangay Talamban in Cebu City and made a time lapse video composed of 214 photos.

On Twitter, Go wrote: “I kept on texting everyone last night to go out and they didn’t listen. So here’s what some of ya’ll missed. Took these at Talamban, Cebu.”

Go, a Grade 11 student of  University of San Carlos, said he took the photos while he was at his dormitory’s balcony on Wednesday, September 6.

The video posted on his Facebook account has been viewed over 115k times and shared more than 2,300 times.
