Someone needs to practice anger management.

A father is in deep regret after he hurled his daughter resulting to internal hemorrhage and a damaged skull. Worse, it’s not his daughter he was mad at but his wife whom he suspects was having an affair.

The three-year-old girl in Pangasinan is now in critical condition after her father hurled her to the floor during her parents’ fight.

An article by GMA news said the couple quarreled Monday night after the father, Jonathan Villanueva, came home drunk.

Gina said her husband is usually violent when drunk. She also denied having an affair.

Jonathan said he blacked out at the height of the fight; saying he did not mean to hurt his daughter.

“Nag-kuwan ‘yung isip ko na, parang nagdilim. ‘Di ko alam na karga ko. ‘Di ko alam kung gaano kataas. Noong nakita ko na ‘yung pagkabagsak ‘nung bata, natulala na lang ako.” [My mind blacked out. I didn’t know that I was carrying my child. I didn’t know how high. When I saw her on the floor, I caught myself speechless, staring at her,] he said.

The impact have caused damage to the left portion of the little girl’s skull.

Gina said she was told by the doctors that the case is serious, for there is a hemorrhage, but added that it can be treated.

She also said that she will not press charges against her husband for their daughter’s sake, but hopes that the incident would serve as a lesson to him.

“‘Yung anak mo ngayon, hirap na hirap na, pasalamat ka na ‘yung anak mo, kahit papaano, mahal ka niya. Ayaw ka niyang ipakulong.”  [Your child is now in a terrible situation, you should be thankful that she loves you, somehow she doesn’t want you to be imprisoned,] Gina said.

The detained Jonathan said he regrets his actions and wants nothing but to embrace his daughter.
