‘America’s Got Talent’ young Pinay finalist takes pride on being a Filipino

America’s Got Talent young singer takes pride being a Filipino as she also gives a special shout out to the Philippines in one of her Facebook Live videos.

In the video, 9-year-old Angelica Hale, born in Atlanta, Georgia was too enthusiastic to announce that her mother Eva Bolando is a Filipino. She’s also grateful for all the support she has been receiving from all the Filipinos.

Though she’s busy with her rehearsals in California for the America’s Got Talent semi-finals next week, she did not forget to extend her sympathy to those who were affected by Hurricane Irma. She also assured to include them in her prayers.

According to Angelica, she’s so much excited to show her performance in the semi-finals.

Her Facebook Live video on September 9 already reached over 94K views as of posting. The comment section was flooded with praises, admiration, and words of encouragement from her avid fans and supporters all over the world.

Angelica Hale’s audition in Episode 1202 singing Andra Day’s “Rise Up” sent her to the Judge cuts with all four judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell voting for her “Yes”.

 

Her “Girl on Fire” rendition earned the golden buzzer.
