He may not be a Filipino, but the name “Fernando Jose” rings a bell for most Pinoys. This is because in the early 2000s, way before K-drama was a hit, the mexican love story of Rosalinda and Fernando Jose became a hit in Philippine television.
Mexican superstar Thalia starred in the title role “Rosalinda” and the charismatic Fernando Carrillo as Fernando Jose. Almost every household never missed a single episode back in the days.
Through the years, Fernando visited the Philippines a number of times to touch base with his fans in the country. In 2012, he was interviewed by Korina Sanchez during her radio show on DZMM and Boy Abunda on The Buzz. Fernando, in the same year, even signed a contract with Viva.
Fernando Enrique Carrillo Roselli (born January 6, 1970 in Caracas) is a Venezuelan actor.
He has a son, Angel Gabriel, born on November 2008.
Fernando was part of a music band in Venezuela along with two siblings. He and his brothers released a CD in 1998 called NueveDosDe Algun Dia.
