Bridal cars have become a relevant item in most weddings especially as it is the vehicle which will take the bride to her future husband’s side on their very special day of union. So some couples really pay much attention to the bridal car to be used.

But a bridal horse?

Well, in one particular wedding that took place in a simple barrio in Bukidnon, it was the bride’s preference to mount a special horse on her way to the momentous event of her life.

The rare start to a marriage was shared via a Facebook post on September 11 by the bride’s sister, Maricel, who said that the celebration  of the holy matrimony was held on September 8, 2017 at Utah, Portulin, Pangantucan, Bukidnon.

Maricel told Kicker Daily News that her sister-bride Marilyn Malanog got married to her handsome groom, Jenel Bacus. She also shared that the four-legged bride-bearer is their own special horse, their livelihood partner who helps them everyday at the farm.

Netizens had mixed reactions over the Facebook post  by Maricel Malanog Mitchao, but most of them liked the idea and some even expressed their kilig. You have to admit that it was kind of unique — and symbolic.

After the wedding ceremonies, the newlyweds mounted the same bridal horse on their way to the reception; wearing smiles.

Congratulations to the newly weds!
