The Quezon City Police District staged an “Oplan Galugad” on Saturday at the QCPD Station 10 jail. No deadly weapons or illegal drugs were found, but gadgets seem a normal thing inside the cells.

Confiscated were cellphones, a laptop, pocket WiFis, power banks, chargers, an electric stove, a pair of scissors and a lighter.

According to police superintendent Christian dela cruz, Chief of QCPD Station 10, they have received information that contrabands were being brought into the cells.

No drugs or deadly weapons were found (aside from the pair of scissors). According to an article by ABS CBN, the Chief said that they will conduct investigations to make responsible people pay for the illegal act.

He added that they will be more strict on the visitors and they will be tougher in inspecting the bags that are coming in and out of the station jail or custodial facility.
