Hurricane Irma demonstrated its sheer power as it sucked the waters from a beach in the Bahamas in a rare weather phenomenon.

A similar situation was experienced in the area of Key Largo, south of Florida, where its inhabitants expected the hurricane, but they saw this particular phenomenon.

Videos and images were shared on Instagram via @caseyscheu, who shared a series of  updates of how the beach was totally dry.

For now nobody knows what can happen when the sea grows again and many inhabitants of the area fear that there will be a massive flooding.

Instagram user @caseyscheu have shared hours before another video where you could see the sea before the passage of the hurricane.
