MANILA, Philippines – Ram-ram Abdul Jabbar Cabugatan, the boy who had been missing over the last 7 years is finally reunited with his mother.

Netizen Hajjah Sonayyah Bin’t Muhammad shared a photo on Monday, September 5, of a young boy who closely resembles Ram-ram.

Another post by Facebook page The Philippines News on Tuesday also shared a video of the emotional reunion between Ram-ram and his mother.

Both posts claimed Ram-ram was indeed the boy in the photo.

Apparently, Ram-ram was located after his story was featured on “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho(KMJS)” which was aired last Sunday, September 3.

Ram-ram disappeared on July 10, 2007 after he was kidnapped from their home in Tondo, Manila. The family had since been on a desperate quest to locate him.

A Facebook page, This Kid is Missingdedicated to finding him was created by his mom years ago, and the family even went to the extent of offering monetary reward for anyone who can provide information leading to his whereabouts.

There have been several claims in the past that he was found, but all of them proved to be untrue — until now.

A few days ago, Ram-ram’s mother, Rowhanisa Abdul Jabar, took to Facebook again to ask for any information after seeing photos of a Maute child warrior in Marawi City resembling his missing son. However, that too, proved to be another false alarm.

Now that the she is finally reunited with the boy, everyone can only feel happiness for the mother who has been tormented for years by the thought of never seeing her dearest son ever again.

KMJS confirmed this on their Facebook page!

“Matapos mapanood kagabi sa Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho ang istorya ng paghahanap ni Rohaniza sa anak niyang si Ram-ram, nakatanggap ng impormasyon si Rohaniza sa kinaroroonan daw ng bata.”

Here’s the video shared by KMJS which paved the way for the two to be reunited:

Truly a story that pulls at the heart. Thank you, KMJS!
