In the spirit of excitement on seeing the “The King” LeBron James, fans cheered a man whom they thought was LeBron. Much to their disappointment, it was not LeBron but Bright O. Akhuetie of the UP Fighting Maroons.
LeBron James arrived on September 2 for his tour dubbed “LeBron James Strive for Greatness Show.” As expected, throngs of fans and supporters gathered at the Mall of Asia Arena to see him.
Fans eagerly waited and were reportedly very excited for “The King” to appear. At last, someone who looked like LeBron appeared (well, they thought so) and they started chanting “LBJ”, whipping out their camera phones and started mobbing the guy. Much to the fans’ surprise, it was not LeBron — but Bright O. Akhuetie.
From the Twitter account of NCAA reporter, Ceej Tantengco, we get to see what a fiasco it was.
