Marvel releases new and much-awaited trailer for “Black Panther”

All Hail the King! Marvel just dropped its first full trailer for its upcoming Black Panther film.

With rapper Vince Staples’ music, the two minutes and 18 seconds trailer for “Black Panther” released by Marvel Entertainment is posted on its official YouTube account.

Although the character was already introduced in “Captain America: Civil War”, the trailer presents a plot based on the fight for the power of the kingdom of Wakanda, a hidden city in the forests of Africa that the young king T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) – must defend at all costs from the clutches of Ulysses Klaus (Andy Serkis) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

The star-studded cast includes Oscar- and Emmy-nominated Angela Basset, Oscar winners Lupita Nyong’o and Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, Sterling K. Brown and The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira, many of whom we see for the first time in the trailer. Directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale StationCreed), Black Panther comes out in February 16th, 2018.
