- Davao City mayor said senator lying over supposed ignorance of allegations vs. father
- She dared him to prove his hidden wealth claims against president, stop hiding in the Senate
- She also said she’s not backing down from the senator
MANILA, Philippines – Didn’t know her father’s issues? He’s lying.
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte had this to say to Sen. Antonio Trillanes after the latter claimed he didn’t know the allegations hounding her father President Rodrigo Duterte when he asked to be his running mate in the 2016 presidential elections.
In a post on her Facebook account, the younger Duterte said her father had been subjected to allegations he maintained a personal d***h squad and participated in extrajudicial killings since 1995. Hence, it would have been unlikely for Trillanes to have not heard about them.
“Naconfine ka ba ng matagal sa mental? Alam na ng buong mundo ang isyu pero ikaw hindi mo pa rin alam? You are lying,” she said.
[Were you confined for so long in a mental facility? The whole world knew the issues but you didn’t know? You are lying.]
Duterte also turned the tables on Trillanes; daring him to prove his accusations of hidden wealth against her father without the benefit of parliamentary immunity.
“Maiba pa tayo, since now we have established lying, prove to everybody that piece of s*** paper of bank accounts you are waving around is not fake, Pinocchio,” she said. “Tigas ng mukha mo magsabi pamilya ng mamatay tao at magnanakaw kami pero nagtatago ka sa parliamentary immunity. Pakita mo ba**g mo, huwag mo itago yan sa Senado.”
[Let’s do it differently, since now we have established lying, prove to everybody that piece of s*** paper of bank accounts you are waving around is not fake, Pinocchio. You are thick-faced saying that we are a family of killers and thieves but you are hiding behind parliamentary immunity. Show your balls, don’t hide them in the Senate.]
Duterte also said that she will not back down from Trillanes no matter what despite the senator also having been the chief persecutor of former vice president Jejomar Binay.
“If you made VP Binay go away without a fight, ang babae na Bisaya hindi umaatras. Kayangkaya ko makipag away ng tatlong dekada, laking Mindanao ako. Kung ang Presidente ng Pilipinas ay inaaway ko, ikaw pa ba?,” she said.
[If you made VP Binay go away without a fight, a woman who is Bisaya does not back down. I can continue fighting for three decades, I grew up in Mindanao. I fought the President of the Philippines, how much more you?]
