Just when she and her family needs comfort and kind words, social media users and fans extended messages of love and prayers to actress Nadine Lustre following the death of her younger brother.

On Twitter, Nadine’s aunt Nona Clemente confirmed the death of 16-year-old Isaiah; a high school student.

“Please lift a prayer for my nephew, Isaiah Lustre. Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him,” she tweeted.

While she did not confirm directly the reports that Isaiah took his own life, Nona added #keepgoing on her post.

A lot of Twitter users expressed grief and love over the tragedy that befell on the popular actress and her family.

“I offered and attended 6 p.m. mass at Holy Trinity Parish Pansol for eternal repose of the soul of Isaiah and personal intention (graces) for Lustre Family. Condolence po ulit Ms. Nona at sa Lustre family. Nasasaktan po ako sa mga pangyayari para kay Nadine,” wrote @ebetdz.

“Our deepest condolences and prayers for you and the Lustre family for your loss. #KeepGoing,” said @LunasSports.

“Sending my deepest sympathy and condolence. May Isaiah rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family @nonaclemente,” @akobluedoy expressed.

“Our prayers are with you and your entire family. Know that we’re here… believe that God is carrying you all in this moment of grief,” @r3ssanchez tweeted.

In another tweet, Nona thanked all the people who have been with their family during such a hard time.

“Thank you all for the love and prayers. May we respectfully request to allow us to have this one last time with our dear Isaiah privately,” she expressed.

Nadine also posted her request on her Instagram account: “Hope we can refrain from posting and reposting photos and videos of the family from the funeral. Let’s give respect. Thank you.”  #NadineLustre#JaDine
