[Video] “Dancing Queen” Dayanara Torres shows us that she still got the groove

Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres impressed everyone with her dancing moves and has proven that she is still the country’s “Dancing Queen.”

Dayanara have always been close to the Filipinos’ hearts and especially her “Sayawnara” moves.

On her Instagram account, she showed everyone that she didn’t lose her impressive dancing skills.

Dayanara is now part of a reality dancing show named “Mira Quien Baila.” Just like the “Dancing with the Stars”, celebrities are paired off with professional dancers and compete against other couples. The couple who wins will get a cash of $50,000 grand prize that they can donate to any charitable institution they prefer.

Dayanara sizzled in a sexy blue number as she swayed and even did an impressive dance split that made the audience applaud. Much to everyone’s delight, Dayanara showed such an impressive dance number that her Instagram post has been viewed close to 71,000 views already.

Back in 1995, Dayanara was part of ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show, ASAP. There, she got to dance and sing with the country’s top performers such as Martin Nievera and Gary Valenciano. During the 20th Anniversary of ASAP in 2015, Dayanara was invited to grace the show and a “Sayawnara” tribute was presented.

She was quoted by ABS-CBN saying: “Thank you for giving me the chance to be part of your story. Thank you for giving me that, to be part of the Filipino community, to be part of your hearts. I have so many memories. It was such a great time in the Philippines.”
