A solid performance from Pinoy beatboxer Neil Rey Garcia Llanes earned him a spot in the grand finals of Asia’s Got Talent 2.

Neil Rey from Davao City wowed the crowd and the audience with his impressive beatboxing skills. David Foster once told him that he could actually win the contest. Foster was quoted by ABS-CBN, “You said that this is your medicine. It’s the best medicine. It’s unbelievable. I think people need to vote for you. You killed it.”

Neil posted on his Facebook account that he couldn’t believe the AGT host Alan Wong visited him in Davao to announce the good news. He thanked his followers and promised to make them proud.

Indeed, Neil feels motivated that this season is his time. Back in Asia’s Got Talent season 1, Neil already qualified but decided to drop out to focus on his studies. He was earlier quoted by Mindanews saying, “AGT is also one of my dreams. But I can’t sacrifice my studies.”

In this season’s grand finals, Neil will be competing with a few more acts including visual artist Canion Shijirbat.

Here’s a few of Neil’s impressive performances from Asia’s Got Talent Youtube channel.
