Who would have thought that Britney Spears’ original watercolor painting would be sold for $10,000?

Just over a week ago the singer posted a video of her on Instagram painting flowers while listening to Mozart’s “Turkish March” playing on the background.

The painting of blue, pink and purple flowers was auctioned at a benefit event called Vegas Cares, which was held at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas on Nov. 5. The charity auction was for the benefit of the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting last October 1.

Although, she was not present during the auction, she did send a video message for everyone.

In her video message, she said, “I’m so proud to call Vegas my second home and I’m pleased to participate in this Vegas Cares show”.

“The flowers in my painting represent a new beginning, and it’s in that spirit that we move forward. All the proceeds from the winning bid go to Vegas Cares Memorial Fund. I appreciate your kindness and your generosity. I love you Vegas.”

Britney’s painting was bought for $10,000 by TV Host Robin Leach, who was also the auctioneer in the said event.
