“It’s Showtime” shares a tear-jerking video tribute for Hashtag Franco

The “It’s Showtime” family was united and bonded together as they faced a wedding and a funeral.

While the “It’s Showtime” hosts were enjoying the scenic views of New Zealand for their co-host Anne Curtis’ wedding, they received the tragic news of the death of Hashtag Franco Hernandez.

Franco was 21 years old when he died due to drowning while in Davao Occidental for a short vacation.

The noontime show decided to share a short video as a tribute to one of their friends and co-hosts whom they dubbed as “Hataw Hearthrob.”

In the heartwarming video, they remembered all the good things that they will miss about Franco Hernandez. His smile, antics and his talented moves will forever be remembered by his “It’s Showtime” family. It ended with “Franco, salamat at paalam.”

On their Facebook page, the show addressed the video to their “brother”, “We will miss you everyday Hashtag Franco, your Showtime Family Loves you so much! Till next time, Franco!”

The heartwarming video had gone viral with more than 1.2 million views.
