The floor of a Denton apartment unit collapsed during a party early Sunday morning; with a video showing the cave-in that forced approximately 50 people out of their North Texas homes.
According to reports, there is a different party every weekend on the student residence in Denton.
While the party was in full swing, around 1:45 am, the floor collapsed under the feet of dozens of party-goers inside a third-floor apartment in North Texas.
Apparently, a UNT homecoming kickback at The Ridge in Denton got so packed and hyped, the floor broke and the students…
Several party-goers quickly called 911. Once on the scene, the emergency services found several people hanging between the two floors.
The party was held on the 3rd floor, and part of the floor collapsed on the other floors beneath. The authorities believe that the ‘jumping’ of the crowd, mostly students, who were dancing may have caused the collapse.
One Twitter user posted the aftermath of the incident on her Twitter account with the caption ‘um what did i just experience’.
