“United we stand”: Roque and Uson poses with President Duterte

A photo showing Roque and Uson together seems to defy the troubled water they are starting to tread on.

Presidential spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque and Communication Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson posed in their bright smiles with President Duterte. The photo was taken by Presidential photographer Albert Alcain aboard PR001. This was before all three and the rest of the staff departed for the APEC summit in Vietnam.

Roque tweeted it on his Twitter account with the caption: United we stand!

Uson also posted the same photo on her Mocha Uson Blog Facebook account. But the feisty writer seemed to tease her followers and captioned it: “Papunta na po ng Vietnam. Kayo na po bahala sa caption.” [On our way to Vietnam. The caption is yours to make.]

This came after the two were embroiled in a series of tirade about proper media ethics. Roque called out Uson and other DDS against their attacks on mainstream media online. Roque was noted by GMA saying that he can teach Uson virtues of mainstream media. Uson defended herself and her followers stating that they are not “dilawang trolls” who can be paid. She answered Roque that media should also learn to respect netizens view.
