- Barbie Forteza reacted to Maine Mendoza’s open letter
- Barbie said perhaps it’s time for Alden and Maine to live the career they want
- She feels it’s a loss but hopes for the best for Alden and Maine
GMA Tween Queen Barbie Forteza shared her thoughts regarding the controversial and viral open letter of the Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza, PhilNews posted on Monday.
The actress clarified she’s not in the right position to comment for she’s not in Maine’s position and they got different roots, likes, and dreams.
“Parang wala ako sa tamang lugar para mag-comment d’yan kasi hindi naman ako yung nasa position nila eh. Magkaiba kami ng pinanggalingan, magkaiba kami ng gusto sa buhay, magkaiba kami ng pangarap.”
Unlike AlDub, Barbie said she goes from one love team to another, that’s why she does not know the feeling of being in a love team for a long time.
“Hindi ko maihahambing ‘yung sarili ko sa sitwasyon nila kasi sila ‘yung talagang phenomenal eh. Ako naman kasi parang after one love team, I go to another guy,” the 20-year-old actress disclosed.
Barbie, moreover, said that AlDub (Maine and Alden Richard’s love team) has already proven their worth in the entertainment industry and maybe it’s time for them to live the career they wanted to have.
She feels it was a loss but she’s hoping the best for the two, as she said: “Nanghiihinayang pero I hope for the best, for the both of them.”

Barbie’s statement follows Maine’s open letter wherein she said she’s no longer happy with the way her career is going as she feels like she’s living in a box.
As of posting, she’s still not appearing on the noontime show Eat Bulaga!.
