Know SRP of products: DTI encourages public to report stores, businesses who “take advantage” of holiday season

Only two days before Christmas, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) reminded Filipinos that they can report stores and businesses that “take advantage” or overprice in-demand goods like Noche Buena products.

Consumers can visit DTI’s official website and check for the e-presyo to view the full list of Suggested Retail Prices (SRP) of Noche Buena Products.

DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez also said that they have price-monitoring teams that surprise-visit supermarkets not only to check the products’ prices but to check the quality as well.
