  • Just like all of the fans, Monique also can’t wait for Ana’s dress to be unveiled
  • ‘Fifty Shades of Grey Freed’ will be showing this Valentine’s day

This Valentine’s, the third and final installment of British Author A.L. James’ ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, will finally come to life.

Of course, the ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ movie trailer excites the fans for the Steele-Grey grand wedding, and probably most of the ladies out there are going to be pretty much more excited over Ana’s wedding gown.

Commissioned by the film’s costume designer Shay Cunliffe, our very own Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier was tasked to craft Ana’s wedding gown.

Actually, this is Monique’s second time to dress Anastasia Steele portrayed by actress Dakota Johnson after creating the silver number her character wore to the masquerade ball in Fifty Shades Darker.

Monique Lhuillier is a Filipino-American fashion designer and creative director known for her bridal, ready-to-wear and lifestyle brand. She is internationally recognized as one of America’s foremost designers.

Monique’s gown embodies her aesthetic as a designer — traditional and timeless yet dainty and chic — and, of course, encapsulates Ana’s sweet and feminine character in the film.

On January 8, Monique posted a photo on Instagram and it seems that she is also excited for the big wedding!
Her caption goes: “The climactic final chapter begins Valentine’s Day. Can’t wait to unveil the dress.”
