MANILA, Philippines – A disgruntled netizen has shared on social media how she was shocked to discover the money on her Banco De Oro (BDO) savings account were suddenly gone despite her not making any withdrawals recently.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, January 7, Tonette Pajuelas said she was dismayed to find out she only has P5,708 in her account after making a balance inquiry on an ATM.
Tonette said she never made any withdrawals and the last time she checked her balance was last November 11, 2017, during which she had P68,810.30.
She also received a payment of P2,950 last Jan 3, 2018 which would have made her total money in the account to P71,760.
However, she was shocked to discover there’s only P5,708.70 left in the account. The netizen said she is the only one who’s keeping the passbook as well as the ATM card.
Tonette’s post has gone viral on Facebook; with many netizens advising her to immediately contact the bank and report the matter.
Others also urged her to approach Raffy Tulfo or even the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas if no appropriate action is taken by the bank to address the issue.
