Teenager Sandra Entroso remained loyal and nurturing to her boyfriend Ben Pineda who’s presently suffering from a brain injury; the teleserye-like romantic journey of the two has been shared by GMA News on Saturday.

Sandra and Ben’s love story as a couple began in May 2016 when he was 14 and she was 15.

Two months later, he collapsed and was brought to a hospital. It was found out that he has Hypoxemic Ischemic Encephalopathy or HIE.

HIE is a brain injury caused by oxygen deprivation to the brain, as per Cerebral Palsy Org and is also known as intrapartum asphyxia.

Presently, Ben’s body has deteriorated that he can’t rise from the bed nor talk.

Sandra remained loyal to him. After her classes, she goes to her boyfriend’s house and helps to take care of him.

She has faith that God and her unending care and love will eventually heal and bring him back to his former strong body.

The love story of the two will be the Valentine’s special of GMA Network’s award-winning late-night documentary program Front Row. It will be broadcasted on February 12, Monday, after Saksi.

In the show’s Facebook page, it asked fans what are the things they are willing to do in the name of forever. Here are some answers:

“Sagana ako sa pagtitiis at pang-unawa para maganda at maayos ang pamilya.” [I am full of patience and understanding for the peace and harmony in the family.]

“Ibibigay ko ang lahat ng oras ko at pasensya.” [I will give all my time and patience.]
