Finalist who lost in ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ becomes the grand winner in ‘Stars of the Albion Grand Prix 2018’ in London

Rachel Gabreza won the grand prize in the  ‘Albion Grand Prix 2018’ in London
• She’s a former ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ finalist during last year’s season
• She’s now a member of the ‘Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-Aawit’

Rachel Gabreza won the grand prize in the professional category during the ‘Stars of the Albion Grand Prix 2018’ in London held on Monday night, February 20.

She beat 30 other contenders coming from different countries such as Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Greece, Cyprus, Estonia, India, Georgia, Armenia, Latvia, Ghana and the US.

The ‘Stars of the Albion Grand Prix’ is an annual music competition organized by Musica Nova, the UK’s International Academy of Music, and the World Association of Performing Arts. Here, people from around the globe compete to showcase their extraordinary talents.

She belted the “Go the Distance” during first level of the competition, and the song entitled “I Am Changing” became her winning piece.

Rachel became one of the finalists on last year’s ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ singing contest on ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show, ‘It’s Showtime’. It was not her luck during the season but eventually her talent excelled this time in London.

She’s currently a member of the ‘Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-Aawit.’

At present, KZ Tandingan– who is now competing in ‘Singer 2018’ in China, and  Rachel Gabreza, showed the world that Filipino talent is world class!
