How is Genella doing now after the beauty accident happened?

Genella’s story was featured in the GMA show, Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho last Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Apparently, Genella Carabbacan decided to shave what little remained of her eyebrows after she lost most of them from the incident, as per a story posted by GMA News.

One mistake doesn’t define who I am.

“Inahit ko na po siya kasi hindi ko na siya maayos para sabay-sabay po siyang tumubo. Ito na po ‘yung resulta nang nangyari. Wala na po ako kilay, wala na po akong buhay. Joke lang po,” Genella jokingly said.

[I shaved it all for the brow hairs to grow back at the same time. This is the result of what happened. I have no eyebrows, I have no life. Just kidding.]

“Umiiyak na po ako nun kasi wala na po akong kilay. Masaya po ako na natanggal na po ‘yung mask pero nalungkot po ako kasi wala na akong kilay,” she added.

[I was crying because I lost my brows. I’m happy that the mask was removed but I’m also sad that I don’t have my eyebrows anymore.]

Genella got too over excited when a friend offered her two sachets of the charcoal peel-off mask, that she immediately used the mask without reading the instructions that says it should not be applied on eyebrows.

Along with mixed reactions, two beauty clinics offered their microblading services to fix Genella’s eyebrows.

What happened to Genella served as a lesson for her and for everyone else, too. She expressed on the TV show how important it is to read instructions and to do some research first before using unfamiliar beauty products.
