The McDonald’s commercial of ‘ShaGab’ love team brought both nostalgia and “kilig” (romantic excitement) to thousands of people online.
On Facebook, McDonald’s shared the promotional video where ex-love team and former real life couple Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion reunited.
“Oh my gosh. I watched it 10 times already. I’m so over the moon happy. Can’t wait for all the other Sharon Gabby McDo tvcs. Movie next pls. Meantime, we’ll have McDo Chicken and fries for lunch snack and dinner today. I love you McDo! Thank you!” TH commented.
“I kennat [I cannot]! Something we never thought would be possible! Thanks McDonald’s, for making this possible. Suddenly craving for some McDo Chicken and fries!” wrote EM.
“This brought back so many memories for me. Used to live in Cubao and the movie theater New Frontier (which I believe is Kia Theater now) was where their movies would hold their movie premiers. Right beside it is a McDonald’s restaurant. Would literally hangout there till Sharon and Gabby arrive. Of course eating while waiting. That’s why McDonald’s and the original loveteam of the 80’s Sharon and Gabby are synonymous with each other. Much appreciated McDonald’s for bringing them together. So awesome to see them together after all these years,” ED shared.
“Watched it many times with a huge smile and kilig. Gosh!!!! I still love them together,” JS expressed.
As of posting, the video already has over 89,000 shares, nearly 238,000 reactions, and more than 4.5 million views. Watch:
