Dubsmash Queen Maine Mendoza re-celebrated her birthday after her solid fans organized a How I Met Your Mother-themed post-birthday party for their idol; according to a PEP story on March 13.
How I Met Your Mother, abbreviated to HIMYM, is a sitcom aired on CBS from September 2005 to March 2014.
Fans staged a New York-inspired setting with a mini dance floor for the celebration held at the Matrix Creation Events Venue in Quezon City on Sunday.
The venue, as per Inquirer, was decorated with yellow umbrellas while Maine’s peg was Barney Stinson, a character in the American series who’s always wearing a suit and tie.
She, moreover, showed off a popular quote from the television series, “Somewhere out there is a yellow umbrella for everyone.”
Her cake was decorated with the iconic places in New York City, HIMYM, and The Playbook.
After the party, the phenomenal star shared a photo of her having a HIMYM marathon on the ride home.
On her Twitter post, she thanked the fans for the treat they’d given her.
“Tonight was filled with nothing but smiles, laughter and love. Thank you so much SMU for the birthday party! It was…” Maine wrote.
To note, Maine’s original birthday is March 3 which she had celebrated earlier in Eat Bulaga!.
