Santuario de San Antonio Parish (SSAP) in Forbes Park, Makati City has finally spoken up amidst the backlash they are facing following their wedding rates.
The parish priest, Fr. Reu Jose C. Galoy, OFM, issued a statement on their Facebook page that the rates are “under review.” They thanked everyone for “engaging in a fruitful discussion on improving the Parish services.”
Galoy went on to say that “…the Committee will review all concerns brought up, taking into consideration all input and suggestions and arrive at a sensible set of rules that would address the interest of all concerned.”
The Parish went under fire from netizens after a photo of their “Accreditation Fees” for wedding suppliers went viral on social media.
It showed fees ranging from P50,000-20,000. The wedding rates starts at P40,000 for residents and up to P65,000 for non-residents.
