It is a diamond shaped chocolate covered with edible gold. It has a filling of saffron threads, white truffle, vanilla from Madagascar and gold flakes. It is also covered with a crown-shaped box decorated with 5,500 Swarovksi crystals and also carries personalized pincers.
Guarded by two uniformed men, the declared world’s priciest chocolate is a part of a limited edition of 1,000 bonbons.
Portuguese cholitier Daniel Gomes is the creator of the Guinness Book of Records certified world’s most expensive chocolate.
He took away the spot from 2017’s 250-dollar La Madeline au Truffe made by Danish artisan chocolate-maker Fritz Knipschildt’s.
