- A man k****d his biological daughter, who is also his wife
- He also k****d their child and the woman’s adoptive father
- The suspect and his daughter were a******d in January for incest
A man from North Carolina went on a murder spree spread across three states; killing his own biological daughter with whom he had an incestuous affair, their 7-month-old baby, and the daughter’s adoptive father.
The main suspect, Steven Pladl, 45, was found d**d later inside a minivan; apparently from self-inflicted wounds.
The killing begun on Thursday after the North Carolina police received a 911 call from Pladl’s mother for a welfare check on an infant at a Knightdale residence where the suspect lives. The cops found the body of 7-month old Bennett Pladl on suspected homicide.
The boy was previously picked by Pladl the day before, according to his mother. However, the suspect was not home when the police arrived.
But about 20 minutes earlier, the Connecticut police received report of a shooting in New Milford. Two victims – a young woman and an elderly man – were found d**d from gunshot wounds. They were later identified as 20-year-old Katie Pladl and her adoptive father 56-year-old Anthony Fusco.
Hours later, the New York state troopers found Steven Pladl’s minivan in Dover. The suspected gunman was also found d**d; apparently from self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
A twisted incestuous affair
In January, Steven Pladl and his biological daughter Katie were a******d at their home in Knightdale and charged with incest and adultery. The father’s bond was modified which allowed him to travel to North Carolina.
The incestuous relationship begun in 2016 after Katie, who was given up for adoption, moved in with her biological parents in Virginia after locating them when she reached 18 years old.
