While most efforts today focus on COVID, a mother is pleading for donations for her precious child. Here is her tale.
For her daughter, Kashdriyana, a newborn, Dayanara Jarin Mallari manages a t-shirt for a cause campaign.
She detailed how her baby's life has already encountered difficulties on her Facebook page while the little angel was still inside her. Fortunately, though, she found her way into our universe. She was delivered early at 29 weeks, though, and has spent more than a month in the NICU.
Hirschsprung disease had been identified in Kashdriyana, who had already spent five confinement periods. Her gut can no longer pass trash via a portion of it.
This birth abnormality, which affects more male infants than female infants and is solely linked to genetics, has no recognized etiology. This implies that the illness can be handed down to future generations.
She underwent a colostomy to help her condition, but she still needs two more surgeries to restore her body to its normal state. Aside from that, they're hoping to move on with her timetable by December when they have enough money. Kashdriyana suffers from cerebral palsy and is also cognitively handicapped.
Her mother sells t-shirts for P250 each in an effort to move on. Their financial demands will be greatly relieved by this.
She has expressed her gratitude for the support she has received thus far for her fundraiser, “Salamat sa Diyos at sa mga mabubuting pusong tumutulong sa aking anak. Pagpalain po kayo ng Diyos sa kabutihang pinagkaloob ninyo sa munti kong anghel.”
Even though we may all be fighting the same struggle at the moment, let's not forget about those who are facing twice as much pressure as we do.
