MANILA — It’s a ‘The Voice’ Day on August 2, when winners of different editions of “The Voice” in the Philippines, will share the stage for the first time in a charity concert.
The charity concert is dubbed “Boses ng Bulilit… Kami Ulit,” and its goal is to raise funds for the victims of typhoons Yolanda and Glenda. The show will be telecast on Saturday, August 2, at 6:45 p.m. on on the Kapamilya network.
Of course, champions Lyca Gairanod and Mitoy Yonting will be there to grace the occasion with an exciting face-off.
Lyca Gairanod, 9, of Tanza, Cavite, is the first grand champion of ‘The Voice Kids’ 2014 which culminated last July 26.
Michael ‘Mitoy Yonting is a Filipino singer, comedian, and lead vocalist for his band, The Draybers; who rose to fame after winning the first season of The Voice of the Philippines in 2013.
Joining the champs are alumni of “The Voice” Philippines, namely: Klarisse de Guzman and Morissette Amon of the same batch as Mitoy; plus the “Kids” edition, of course – winners in their own rights Darren Espanto, Juan Karlos Labajo, and Darlene Vibares.
“The Voice” coaches Bamboo, Sarah Geronimo and Lea Salonga also promise a treat with the final four of ‘The Voice’ Kids edition, so watch out for the telecast.
Several Kapamilya artists including Jovit Baldivino, KZ Tandingan, Yeng Constantino, Rico J. Puno and Zaijan Jaranilla will be there, too.
