VIDEO: Yeng Constantino releases prenup-inspired music video

MANILA, Philippines- Yeng Constantino released a prenup-inspired video for her single “Ikaw” featuring her fiancé, Victor Asuncion.

The song, composed and written by Constantino, tells a story about finding a lifetime partner. The single also mirrors Constantino and Asuncion’s love story.

In the video, Constantino is seen wearing a white dress, and Asuncion in coat and tie. Seemingly, the couple is being shot for a prenuptial video  captured in Batanes and Singapore.

After 8 months of being a couple, Constantino and Asuncion got engaged in March this year.

During an interview with, the pop rock princess said: “He’s the one for me. Sobrang bait po, e. Yung bait na hindi matatawaran ng kahit anong bagay sa mundo.” (He’s the one for me. He’s very kind. The kind of kindness that can never be replaced by anything in the world.)

The pair met at the Victory Christian Fellowship Church where Asuncion is a worship director and Constantino is a member.

Asuncion, a former band member, is Constantino’s first official boyfriend. Meanwhile, the Hawak Kamay singer is also Asuncion’s first girlfriend.

Worth It

Set to tie the knot early in 2015, Constantino said she is not afraid to take their relationship to the next level.

In an interview with ABS-CBN news, the Kapamilya singer said:

“There’s something in me na para kong na-feel, ‘I’m not afraid anymore.’ Pag tinitingnan ko siya, it feels like he is worth it.” ( There’s something in me that makes me feel ‘I’m not afraid anymore’. When I look at him, it feels like he is worth it.)

She added:

“Kung feeling ng iba, marami akong mami-miss out, parang feeling ko, mas marami akong mami-miss out pag hindi ko siya makasama.” (If other people feel that I will miss out a lot of things, I feel that I am going to miss out more things if I’m not with him.)
